Hello All,

The instructions for setup SBC Phones are mainly for Startup (limited console) of the 3CX PBX. From the Pro console, we cannot get the one time PIN pop up.

Would anyone be able to guide me with the SBC Phone provisioning from the Pro Hosted Environment - Classic Console ? (we currently have Yealink t54w)

*********************
From The web client admin console

Configuring your Yealink T53, T53C, T53W, T54W, T57W as a Router Phone

  1. Select "Router Phone".
  2. Choose your Yealink T5 model from the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter the phone’s MAC address without dashes or colons, and click “Add phone”.
  4. A pop-up with the extension number and the one-time code will appear. The PIN is valid for 14 days during which period you have to connect the phone to the network. If it is already connected, restart it. - no pin ever pop up !!
  5. As soon as the phone boots up it will request:
    Your extension number
    The special 8-digit one-time PIN.

Thank you !

You no longer need a pin with Update 7 (All Hosted installs should be on U7 already)

Thank you, once the phone reboots, a username and password is requested, would this be the AUTHID and password ?

No, no password is needed. If it's being prompted, then either the firmware on the device isn't up to date or the phone isn't added correctly.

You also can't add a router phone from the management (classic) console, only from the web admin console.
Web admin is in all editions - not just in startup.

Thanks for your time, Got it working

1 - Had to adjust the timezone within the phone config
2 - Deleted the phone an recreated it under the desired extension (Mac address in Capital)
3 - Rebooted and voila , magic.
