SBC with Paging Adapter

We have a potential client with 4 sites looking at 3CX and need to tie to existing paging systems. Our thought is to use one system at a site and use SBC's for all the other. Will the cyberdata paging adapters work if they aren't on the same network. I believe 3 or 4 of the sites have existing analog paging. Thanks

Hi Mitch,

Do you have the possibility of setting up a VPN to that site? The Cyberdata devices will need to be local, so a VPN should help.

I do believe that the Fanvil PA2 will work fine over SBC though, take a look here:

Thanks for the reply that looks like it will work. Is it possible to set 2 accounts/extensions up on the Fanvil PA2 or the Snom PA1 to allow for paging and ringing?

I've also done Cyberdata 011233's over SBC without issue as well. Works great.

We only support a single extension per device so this would not be supported by 3CX.

Not sure I understood clearly though what you mean by paging VS ringing. Calling the device would open the line up like paging would
