Hi all

I got AI to make me a script which sends the DDIs listed to an extension.

Due to this list increasing rapidly, I want to invert it instead by sending everything to the extension excluding a DDI list that will do their normal call flow.

My question is - Do I need to specify anything about holidays in this script? Or will holiday days get handled normally from the GUI?

A) Why is this not the default destination for the trunk, and all excluded DDIs that are directed elsewhere assigned to their correct destinations?

B) The call script holiday management usually sits right on the trunk, but as I assume your script does do, it would depend on which fires first and what it does to the call. You could copy one into the other and stack the call flow within this larger script so priority is given to whichever part you prefer.
Department holidays would depend on what type of destinations these call end to.

Hi Kyriacos,

the DDIs are assigned to extensions so they can select them for their outbound CLI.

I did ask AI and it said any DDIs in exclusion would be handed back to 3CX to carry on so I think it'll respect holidays. I'll test tomorrow when its not in use and see what the score is.

PS i dont have another call script for holidays.

For the PS, I see you are playing with U10, the Department Holidays / announcements are tied to the endpoints, so those should not be affected.

For the rest, if you need those DDIs assigned for outbound, yep, it kind of cancels the default route shortcut.
