only saying the search on this forum isn't working properly, so they may address it

I am finding many "solutions" for issue in V20 hopping they may address it also in the next update

I expect it's an intentional setting. But yes it does affect searches, for example, "SBC" or "SIP." Also it doesn't allow quoting a phrase.

I too found this infuriating as a lot of searches need the 3 letters SIP, SBC, PBX, BLF, 3CX, etc. until I found a workaround that really does the job very well.

All you need to do is go to the 3CX homepage and use the search function there (magnifiying glass in the top right hand corner of the page). It DOES accept 3 letters and you can refine the results to Forum, Blog, Docs or all of them.

Alternatively use the following url:

https://www.3cx.com/?s=XXX

(replace XXX with your search text).
