For outbound calls, there are a couple of different ways an agent can dynamically alter the caller ID number.
- You can use a prefix when dialing the customer number. For example, add "777" to the 10 digit number, and build an outbound rule that requires the number start with "777"and has a length of 13 digits. Set the desired caller ID on the rule.
- Take a look at our 3CX Caller ID tool. This tool provides a compact web interface where the agent can select the desired caller ID from a list, place the call, then reset it back to the default.

Founded in 2005, when VoIP was an emerging technology, 3CX has gone on to establish itself as a global leader in business communications.
