Send Text message using 3CX API

Hi every one,

Can we send text message using 3CX API? is it possible.

A text message to what? A 3CX Phone, a mobile phone?

You would require a paid subscription to a SMS gateway to begin with. I haven't seen anything (myself) to interface to one.

I do have registration, but i do not know how to do that using API. But there is other way but I need to know how to assign wav greeting file to certain extension using 3CX API.

Do you know how to use API to set the greeting for certain extension? I know that it might be done by setting it in the extension profile but do not know how.

Hope you can help me on this.

Not having been involved with API, I'm afraid I wouldn't be of any help with the actual application. Someone else, however, may. I haven't seen text messaging (to a mobile) come up in the forum, as a viable option at this point. As I said, any outside text options (sending to a mobile) would still require a (paid) subscription to an outside SMS gateway service.

You can also search for API and the site will return what results there are.

Finally, you can search the web as there may be a 3rd party app that is available. Here is one, but whether or not it meets your need, you will need to contact the vendor.
