Sennheiser / Epos integration broken?

Hello everybody,

we have one desktop client (the new v 18 one) running on 18.0 Update 4 (Build 965) and using a Epos (Sennheiser) SDW3 Dect station with a SDW 60HS hooked to the PC via USB.
Everything run very nice until this morning, could answer calls with the headset button, paused media playback and so on.

This morning somehow the senheiser integration ends calls without allowing communication. Neither caller nor called have audio. After arround 8 second in the call it ends the call without user interaction:
Leg L:20.1[Extn:13] is terminated: Cause: BYE from local

Disabling the sennheiser integration in the desktop client solves the issue, but of course disables the comfort feauters...

Any known issues?

Hi,

The sudden oncoming of the issue probably means something is stuck, or something else happened beyond 3CX.

The integration only relates to the buttons, it should not really affect audio to be honest, so I find it strange that disabling it makes the headset work. Almost sounds as if the headset/base freezes when you enable it.

I would restart the PC and then also power-cycle your base, and you can also try the base on another PC and see if you get different results.

thanks for your reply. Restarted PC, powercyled the base and restartetd 3cx VM before i even posted. My guess would have been that either 3cx or Epos did an Autoupdate and something broke.

Ill try the base on another PC...
