Services Won't Start

I'm trying to start the Configuration Server service and I get the following error:

"The 3CX PhoneSystem 01 Configuration Server service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.

My 3CX hasn't been working for a few days now. This is on Windows 10, local install.

Take your backup (copied out of the default location) uninstall and reinstall/restore

Where is the default backup location? I can't seem to find any backups.

Try command line https://www.3cx.com/docs/backup-restore-command-line/

use All as options , so it backups everything.

as above make sure you backup outside of 3cx folders

if you can not do a backup, when was your last know good backup - use this file to restore 3cx

Hi Patrick,

The default location would be here, take look and see if you find your backups:
C:\ProgramData\3CX\Instance1\Data\Backups

Please note that the system requires dedicated Windows 10 Pro/Ent (fully updated), and the machine should have nothing else installed on it: just Windows and 3CX
