Hi everyone, we've been requested to find a way to set our 3CX clients to Do Not DIsturb when a call is being held over teams.
To clarify the call is a random call and not a meeting. The meeting feature that sets your 3CX to DND is already implemented.

Did anyone have any luck setting this for random calls? I have found no information while searching the forum/google.
Thank you in advance.

Hi,

I am facing the same issue and came accros your post. How did you get the 3CX to DnD during a Teams meeting?
Or do we have to wait for the new presence sync feature which solves it all?

One way to accomplish this would be using the old 3CX Windows App. You can make changes to 3CX status via command line, like so:
"C:\ProgramData\3CXPhone for Windows\PhoneApp\3CXClickToCall.exe" *30
(30 is available, 31 is away, etc)

So now all you need is a trigger. You need to execute that command when a call comes in. I can't make any recommendations, but something like Teams Wizard would do that: https://www.lyncwizard.com/products.html#TeamsWizard

Hi Ronald, it's the calendar sync part of this link - https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/microsoft-365/#h.wov76v2lum54
Hope this helps.
Hi ictsys,
I am aware of the calender sync and used it with some of our customers. Trouble is that for every appointment, reminder or calendar blocker they put on their calendar, the outlook status is set busy and therefore the 3CX status is DnD. Consequently they can't be reached during that time. Didn't you face this issue?
