Set Default Provisioning interface

When setting up a new extension, on the phone provisioning tab, we are given the option to select an interface for the provisioning. We want to use the DNS name registered.

is there a way to set this as a default for all new extensions?

Unfortunately no, there is no way to set a default.

You need to set it manually per extension.
