Set up SIP trunks with an Avaya S8720?

Hi,

We just implement 3CX in a new project. Feather more, we'd like to connect 3CX with existing Avaya S8720 PBX. Can anyone advise:
1. Anyone has successfully set up SIP trunks with an Avaya S8720?
2. Any suggested essential device to connect 3CX with Avaya S8720?
3. Any IP phone compatible with both Avaya S8720 and 3CX?
4. Can 3CX receive the original caller ID from Avaya S8720?

Hi Julie,

I have successfully bridged/setup a trunk from 3CX to an Avaya IPO Server edition PBX - this means registration and basic calls back/forth across the trunk itself. I still have the configuration notes if you would like them.

I am not familiar with the Avaya S8720 but from a quick search this looks like a media server - whether this will have the same setup and GUI is doubtful.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, Avaya only model 9~ phones support 3CX, but they don't support Avaya S8720. However, if you can still share the configuration notes, that will be great. Maybe the configuration is similar.
