Setting up FB/Meta Integration , isnt working in dev mode

We had FB messenger working before, but I remember reading 3cx wasnt going to support it anymore. Suddenly, we lost access and figured thats what happened. Then I see that 3cx still supports this, so Ive been working to get our page up to par and setting the new integration up.

I made the trunk, copied all the codes over, set it to go to a dedicated group, but I also made a test user as the guide suggests (not sure what this is for). End of step 3 says it should work, but I cant get a message through to anyone in the group, including myself. Step 4 needs proof it works. But I cant get it to work. Since you cant edit the FB trunk, I made a new one, made sure THAT call back link was saved in the meta app, followed steps 1-3, but still not working. Im at my wits end. Ive combed over every step. but by the end of step 3 I dont have a working integration.

What can I do? Thanks in advance.

In order to get the FB working you need first to get verified from META and also ensure that you are in Live mode. Have you ensured that the app is verified from META?

I am verified, but not in live mode. As I understand it, your app has to be approved to be in live mode, and to have them approve it, step 4 must be completed, showing it works. Is that correct?

Thats where I am. I need to demonstrate that it works to get approved and upload a video of it working. But I cant get messages to go to 3cx.

Based on the guideline:
"Your application is now configured to work with 3CX and you can try to send a message on your Facebook page. At this stage your app is in ‘Development’ mode, meaning you can only interact with users that have permission to manage your page"
Have you also confirmed that you can interact with users that have permissions?

I dont understand what that means actually. This may be where the hang up is. WHat users is it talking about?

Test messages in DEV mode can only sent the page admins and the Facebook users that are admins on the Facebook page.

my problem is After I followed the steps, I was able to use Facebook Admin to send messages to Facebook Messenger chats, but in the process where Meta came to check the system's operation, the Facebook staff couldn't type a response from Chat 3CX. red cross And the destination side of the Facebook officer is not received from the 3CX side.

On the Meta connection page, the problem is reported as follows:

I am having this exact same problem. I can send a message from my personal account to the test extension and back, but when the reviewer goes to do it, it fails, presumably because they are not admin on my page? I have it in live mode but I have had friends test and messages from them do not go through. I have no idea how to fix this??? My errors below.



THanks for any ideas. I thought of myself as at least capable of following instructions with IT projects, but apparently not.

I got to a point where I can send messages to myself via messenger and 3cx, but no one else in the group gets them. I submitted that and still failed. My guess is because the dev couldnt send messages. So I deleted it and remade it. What can I do to fix this?I would absolutely pay for help from a partner.

Yeah, it seems to be the same thing with me. The FB dev can't send messages, I actually see on my bix FB page when they try but they don't go through to 3cx. I don't see how I can create a test FB account for them to use? Shouldn't they be able to do this?

Very glad to pay a partner to fix this for me as well.

I too have the same problem, FB keeps rejecting the App because according to them it is not true. I see from the 3CX test account that I create them, that they connect 3CX receives the Messenger message but when they try to reply from the chat the message does not start, he puts a red X on me and so the FB man bowls.

Do you have suggestions STAFF??

It is also true that the FB technicians do not follow the steps to test the app that they require in the guide at point 4.14 "application review" to test the integration

its likely not a 3cx problem but it a fault on the facebookside. Look in your Dashbord under auditlog and see if there is an error message somewhere after replying on a facebookchat.

Yes, I confirm that the error is the one you posted, I had already heard from 3CX technical support and they too confirm that the problem is from FB.
The only thing was to know if any user had managed to correctly integrate the integration to FB, with the old integration I was able to integrate it without problems in a few minutes, here are weeks that he's been banging his head to make FB technicians understand that they have to use test account with tester or admin rights to try the app

So I started over, and this time it didnt ask me to paste in the directions. This is what its spitting out at me now. Note: I cannot get anyone but myself to recieve messages from facebook because I am the owner I guess. Not even the test user gets them. So I used my acct for use. Now it wants a pic of the user? Im lost.

I also dont understand how the test acct is supposed to work. That acct is the only one in my FB group in 3cx, but me as the admin gets those messages.

After starting over again today, when choosing subscriptions, there is not an option for messaging_pre_checkouts. Has this changed?
