Quick question.

My end user is wanting when a caller is transferred to an extension, if no one answers the extension to be able to say hit 0 and get back to the main IVR.

Possible?

Thanks,

Chris

I think * or 0 both work... and you need to setup your operator extension under Settings -> General.
There is not an option for a different operator for an extension or extension group - just global.

Thanks for the reply.

So, It does not matter whether or not vm has picked up at the point of hitting * or 0?

It will only return the call to the operator and not to the IVR. It should do even if the VM has picked up. Give it a try using the "*".

Can you set operator ext to an IVR? If not - I guess forward a dummy extension to an IVR.
Never had the need to do this...
