So we recently installed a hosted solution. It was previously a multi-line style PBX and they were not used to how 3CX would handle calls. We set up BLF phones in ring groups with those old DIDs with 4-5 BLFs programmed to Shared Parking spaces SP0-SP4 for putting the calls "on hold". Appeared to work well and it does. The biggest issue we are encountering is the user that "wins" the ring group hunt puts the call in a Shared Parking space, and will NOT be able to pick up any new calls UNTIL that original phone call is completed.

It is a very strange issue as the phone should not be considered "Busy" as the call was parked. Is this a bug? Is there some kind of config issue we missed for this standard setup with RGs?

Once an extension has parked a call, will it no longer ring, on another incoming ring group call? Is it able to accept a call placed directly to it's extension number, or does that go to voicemail?

Does the 3CX Activity Log (Verbose), show the extension as being unavailable?

Have you double checked Panel to ensure they're actually parking it and not putting the call on hold?

Yes, this has been verified. They are pressing the BFL key that we have set up on all of the phones in this smaller office. SP0-SP4

They only receive RG calls as no DIDs are setup for individual exts.

I have not attempted verbose logging as this was an accounting office and they are just getting over tax season.

When this happens, try calling the extension number directly (from another extension) , to see if a call goes though. It may help narrow down the issue.

Yeah i see where you are getting at with this as extensions can not receive multiple calls. Funny thing is the 3CX specifically sites using RGs or Queues to combat the issue.

This is not expected behavior, so please run the check that @leejor suggested, it should reveal much.
