Show only group extensions in Fanvil Contact list

Is there a way to get the Fanvil Phones to only show the Contacts of the group the phone is a member of and not the entire organization list?

Hi Elijah,

No, the contacts list is going to show everything in the Company Contacts and this will appear on all desk phones.

There is no way show only specific ones, to specific groups.

The only option available is to hide certain extensions from the directory (will not appear on any phones).

Hi John - does this apply only to Fanvil phones, or to Snom as well? I'm new to 3cx and trying to find the most cost-effective phones that are readily available in Canada. Having phones show group contacts will be an important feature in our deployment.

Hi, yes this applies to all supported phones. They all show the same list of Company Contacts + local user extensions
