Setting up a system that will connect to a Paxton NET2 entry system. I have a system working now as a trial in my lab. My general question is what level do I need for the system, will have one DID number, no incoming calls and only one ata ti,e going out. will need to add about 200 extension that will be set to away and forwarded to another number .
the Test that I have setup in my lab is working great I have 5 extensions setup and connected to a sip provider and it dials out like i want it to.
will the standard version that's free work for this.

how many SC do you need? based on 200 extensions you speak about you need almost a 64SC perhaps more if intensive use

STD licence is Free for first year, and stay free up to 8SC after (for ever if 3CX don't change is way)

3CX is based on simultaneous calls. Since you are basically just looking at this like a door phone with 1SC, then the 4SC is all you need. As far as the version, the comparison is here:

https://www.3cx.com/ordering/pricing/

From your description it sounds like Standard will work fine.

End result, the free license.

Will only have one call at a time and it will only be outgoing.

incoming or outgoing doesn't matter, simultaneous calls matters. of course if there is only one call at a time even with 200 extensions, then as above a 4SC is enough
