Since installing the release of 15.5 SP6 there are many IP-addresses blocked only for some seconds.
Many times, these IP-addresses are coming back (after a day or so) and they are relisted for some seconds only.
Generally I have set to blacklist every IP for 2592000 seconds.
The e-mail generated about the added block tells me, that the IP will be blocked for about 10 to 16 seconds.
Another one told me about 501 seconds.
The only thing I can see is a fixed block duration of 5 seconds on the "Security Barrier (Amber)", which is lesser than the 10 or 501 seconds.
I assume, that the blocking mechanism has changed, and the system will decide on its own, how long the IP will be blocked.
As at least in my case, the IP blocked are really evil ones and I want to block them for a longer time than only 10 seconds, is there any new settings to force a longer block?
