Hi Everyone,
My firewall (Juniper SSG-320M) sets the default sip (and any udp protocol) session timeout to 60 seconds. I notice in my firewall logs that I see SIP connections open and then close every 60 seconds and then reopen again for each of my remote SIP phones.
Just wondering if anyone knows if I should increase the sip session timeout? And if so, to how much .... 120 seconds?
Most of the phones I am using are Yealink T48S and I checked their configurations and they seem to have keep alives enabled every 15 seconds. I would think that would keep the UDP connection open.... but actually maybe not? Are keep alives only for TCP?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
