SIP Proxy Manager installation - service failed

I have several remote sites where i'm trying to setup the SIP Proxy Manager to tunnel calls to/from remote extensions.

On one of the sites the installer failed when trying to start the service:
Service '3CX SIP Proxy Tunnel' (3CXSIPProxy) failed to start.
Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

This is a Windows XP SP2 machine logged in as local Administrator. Has anyone encountered this error? Other applications/service behave normally, are there any special requirements for SIP Proxy Manager?

I have also encountered the problem. How did you fix it?

those are the requirements ^^^ just get latest windows installer and .net anyway...

Grandstream GWX4101 FXO Configuration Problem

Good Day Ladies & Gents

I have a problem getting my Grandstream FXO to work with the 3CX Phone System Version 10
Please see attached JPEG file for my setup diagram.

The Problem is,
When I make or receive a call using a 3CX Phone system extention to the PSTN line, I cannot hear anyting from the otherside.
The PSTN phone rings but I cannot hear it and when it is answered, they can hear but I cannot hear them.

When a call comes through from the PSTN line to the 3CX phone system, the designated extension to recieve call rings.
When I answer, agnain I cannot hear anything but the call can hear me.

Were can I look for fix this problem.

OK, a few questions:

Are internal calls (extension to extension) OK?
Did you provision the GXW410X using the template?
Do the ports you have established on the GXW show to be registered?
What country are you located and which version of 3CX is being used?

No.. I did not use any template to provion the grandstream GWX4101... hcan do this?
I am located in Zambia
I am using 3CX Phone System version 11

Yes, you can use a template. Delete the current gateway, then do an add and use the pull down box to find your model, then follow the directions.

I have installed the gateway using a template.
I am still getting the same problem.

When the gateway is installed inside the LAN, it works perfectly well wth same configuration.
Problem start when it is installed outside the LAN using a public IP address.

The gateway is not influenced by the public ip. The gateway is used to interconnect the 3cx system to PSTN (public switched telephone network) lines. the only things the Internet is then used for are updates and possibly remote telephones.

Assuming that you are indeed using a gxw4104 or 08 gateway and that the template was used, then you should be able to make and receive calls from any extension connected directly to the 3cx system. If you are trying to use remote phones and having issues, then that is a different problem.

If you are still having issues making PSTN calls, then post a log.

Ii works without a problem when the FXO gateway is installed inside the LAN
