Hi to all. I am a new user to 3CX. I have found it intuitive and not overly difficult to work out. I have a Firewall background so Rules based processes is realtively easy for me.
I have a slight issue with one SIP trunk and Digital Receptionist.
The original SIP trunk (SIPA) I first loaded onto the system worked a treat as i expected. I then added 2 other SIP (SIPB and SIPC) trunks and they also work as expected. At some point i must have configured some forwarding of the original SIPA to my Office extension in the original setup.
Whenever i Assign the SIPA DID to my Digital Receptionist, it fails, ie it rings my extension instantly.
I assigned SIPB DID to Digital Receptionist and it works.
When i dial EXTN 800 (Digital Receptionist Extn) from another phone it works.
I then removed the SIPA from SIP trunks. Saved config. So now only SIPB and SIPC listed in SIP trunks. I manually ring the DID previously assigned to SIPA and my Extension rings. I go and attempt to assign the original SIPA DID to a new extension and it says no DID's to assign.
I then ring the DID for SIPA and it transfers to my Extension automatically, when I have NO SIP trunks for that DID.
No changes at provider. I add SIPA back into SIP trunks and my extension dials when i ring SIPA DID.
Once again i remove SIPA and Ring the DID and my extension still rings.
What am i missing?
Thanks

You may want to make use of the 3CX Activity Log which will show you why a call goes where it does. There are various logging levels, to provide more detail.

Hello @Br00kee

From your description i would assume that all 3 sip trunks are from the same provider and probably are under the same account. If that is the case then that would explain why your routing does not work correctly and why calls keep coming in even if your trunk is deleted. Please let us know if that is the case.
