Hello, I was following a recent similar thread here: https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...lving-since-updating-to-16-5-yesterday.72721/

I could not reply to the thread because it was marked as "Solved" -- However, I do not believe that is truly the case.

When I'm using the SIP Provider Telnyx, I can connect to the SIP trunk if I am using Port 5060, without TLS on, and without SRTP on.

However, as soon as I change to 5061, TLS on, and SRTP on, the connection fails with the "DNS error resolving FQDN" error message.

This occurred as soon as the update to 16.0.612 was applied. Prior to 16.0.612, we were able to use Port 5061, TLS, and SRTP for our SIP Trunk provider without a problem.

Please help, as we would prefer to use TLS and SRTP in our environment. Using IP is not an acceptable workaround because the TLS Root CA depends on a domain match.

Thank you.

I think too that the problem is not fixed with the DNS Resolution for SIP Trunks. One of our customers uses sip.easybell.de for his SIP-Trunk. Today we upgraded the PBX to 16.0.5.612. After the update the PBX wont connect to the SIP Registrar any more. The only workaround is that we have to insert the ip-address into the registrar field.
