hi everyone i trying to transfer my clients from asterisk based pbx to 3cx . the 3cx is much better but i have some problems which i couldn't solve through the documentation.
i working for MSP some of our clients using sms feature .
what i mean by that - when there is incoming call the systems sends sms to the caller .
actually the pbx is just using web url with incoming phone number as variable , and the sms gateway using this info sends predefined sms.
when its working hours it's sms with GPS info and link to their web site.
when they closed it's sms with "we are closed , our working hours is:" message .
restaurants, using delay of 1 hour (the making and delivery time) send link for surveys and etc.

i couldn't find a way to implement this feature in 3cx . the sms is very profitable for our company and it's crucial to implement it. and our customers really loving it!

3CX does not have native SMS capability but should be able to accomplish this in 3CX in one of two ways:

3CX Client loading a web url on incoming call or CFD app calling your SMS url

just to explain better . i don;t need SMS interface of capabilities in 3cx.

i need the ability to trigger WEB URL on some conditions.

lets say when call enter queue the queue triggers URL
http://doman/smsgate.asp?username=&password=&target="here will be the caller number"&source=&message="massage open"

and when outside working hours
http://doman/smsgate.asp?username=&password=&target="here will be the caller number"&source=&message="massage closed"

and on survey i want the queue to delay the url triggering by 1 hour. so i i called at 9 o'clock
at 10 o'clock 3cx will trigger url

http://doman/smsgate.asp?username=&password=&target="here will be the caller number"&source=&message="survey link"

the only variables in the link is the caller number , so actually i need the ability to trigger url.
that is how i implemented it on asterisk based pbx now

In that case it sounds like CFD would be the way go as you can insert it into various places in your call flow.

found it! i can make it work much better than today using the call flow designer

thank you very much , so the sms thing is solved
