Sir
I have installed free standard version through 3cx debian iso. The default mail service is 3cx SMTP. but when I test the service it give the following error

An error occurred while attempting to establish an SSL or TLS connection. The SSL certificate presented by the server is not trusted by the system for one or more of the following reasons: 1. The server is using a self-signed certificate which cannot be verified. 2. The local system is missing a Root or Intermediate certificate needed to verify the server's certificate. 3. The certificate presented by the server is expired or invalid. See https://github.com/jstedfast/MailKit/blob/master/FAQ.md#InvalidSslCertificate for possible solutions.

Kindly help in resolving the issue.

Can I configure custom mail service in this installation, if yes, then please explain how?

I would investigate the SSL issue first and foremost - without this you are stuck, if you are using the FREE version it is bundled in so unless you had any issues or errors on install (which I would recommend re-installation) it might be worth contacting 3CX (if it is a brand new system).

There are some suggestions in the string here also so I would review this first:

Hello @Samir Srivastava

When accessing the management console using the FQDN do you see a certificate error you need to bypass?

Sir
Thanks for the reply . The problem was solved as time and date in the server machine was not set correctly. After correcting the time & date every thing goes fine. Once again thanks for the reply.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for updating the thread with your solution.
