It seems that there is an error in the template for enabling multilanguage settings on the Snom 320 (which I know is EOL). It was necessary for me to create a custom template in order to allow my German colleagues their own language. Here is what one sees now:
Code:
    {IF ua=snom320}
        <status_msgs_that_are_blocked perm="">PhoneProvisioningFailed</status_msgs_that_are_blocked>
        <file url="http://fox.snom.com/config/settings_8.7.xml"/>
    {ENDIF}

    {IF ua=snom320}
        <file url="http://downloads.snom.com/config/web_lang_8.7.xml"/>
        <file url="http://downloads.snom.com/config/gui_lang_8.7.xml"/>
    {ENDIF}

Where the first section is the default element that does not appear to result in a valid file, and the second section is the one I created that contains the links provided by Snom for enabling this feature. Since the PBX complains about custom templates, it would be nice to have a default template that contains valid settings.

Now that I've read the full change log for v15.5 Update 6, I suspect (hope) that this post is wholly unnecessary. I'll find out in a few hours when I update the server and examine the new template, I guess.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved
