Snom 821 Hold Button with 3CX

Hi all,

We have a rather large problem with the new Snom 821 handsets we have installed on our network.

The hold button doesn't work.

Thats right, with the latest firmware & 3CX version 10 or 11 - the damn hold button does not work.

My question is - can anybody had any success in getting it working? If so could you share your success story here?

Hi,

Unfortunately for Snom the latest firmware has a lot of issues. In fact Snom is not supported anymore by 3CX but you can still use it with 8.4.35 firmware which is the last supported firmware.

we have a lot of Snom 821 here and we never had any problems with the hold button.

Our Snom 821 are at 8.4.31.
