Snom BLF Keys

Hi Everyone,

We just installed our first system today to replace an NEC Aspire we put in about 15 years ago. I did have one question that has come up and when searching I didn't find an answer.

We have programmed the BLF Keys as follows:


We have noticed two issues pop up.
1. If someone is placed on park and another extension picks up the phone will display the caller ID on the park BLF for a bit instead of SP1.
2. If the page button is used the phone then shows 001 instead of the name page.
Is this normal for the system?

• 3CX Version: Enterprise Annual 16.0.5.622
• Server OS: Windows 10 Pro
• Server is on Premise
• IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware: Snom D375 FW: 10.1.54.16
• Provisioning Method: Local
• Trunk Provider: Net2Phone
• Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
• Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO

Do the above 2 points both appear on the secondary LCD with the BLF buttons?

I apologize, I accidentally typed that the phones were D375. The phones are actually D735.

I was confused about a second LCD until I realized I typed the wrong model.

No problem! The Snom D735 has a small proximity sensor right here:


When your hand moves close to the device, the screen will change to show the full BLF and you will see SP1.

When your hand away, the screen will change to show the short/compact BLF view and you will see the number of the extension that is sitting inside the shared parking.

If the page button is used, then your are no longer viewing the above mentioned BLFs. You are now on a new page, probably a blank one if the BLF was configured exactly as your original screenshot with only 7 slots.

Check to make sure this was not causing the user confusion over the functions of the phone.

After the proximity sensor senses your hand and displays the BLF labels they appear like this:


The park buttons show the number of the last person placed on park instead of SP1 and the Page button shows 001 instead of the name page.

Hi This is the normal behavior you would see by default:

Snom is telling me there is an open bug report for the issue. Report: SAP-4863

The buttons don't stay updated and will show the same number on park even after the call ended.
