Hi,
I'd like to know if you experience same as me with snom phones and DTMF no more working randomly.
For now I use a D785 up to date on PBX Windows latest V16 .612 release.

Randomly phone can't be used with DTMF tones, they are no more propagated to remote end so , anything needing choice with Tones it's impossible.
I'm using RFC 2833 and my sip provider confirm they don't receive DMTF tones.

3CX Support said to me , they know about this behavior , but they are not able to find what's the starting point for this story , so for now my phone is useless on lots of calls with IVR forwarding.

Do you have the same results with yours ?

I will open support ticket Snom too.

is there a way we can hope new firmware applyied in 3CX? really boring now so often needed a power off to retrieve DTMF working for short time.

Another problem latest Snom 10.1.51.12 release may have fixed is about BLF label display on D735

this is unusable for now, nothing is displayed in front of each BLF set so you never know what to press to use.

Please is it a date we can use it on PBXs ?

Hello,

According to snom this was actually corrected in the past on an older version 10.1.39.11 and the newer version you mention does not say anything in the release notes that will shed more light on the problem you report.

SAP-3489: Sometimes the DTMF-inband-support did stop after approximately 24 days, SIP INFO user_dtmf_info was not affected #Asterisk #3CX [SCPP-8745]

Can you provide some steps to reproduce the issue? If not, then I would suggest you run a capture when the phone is working, and keep it, then when the DTMF stops again, run a 2nd capture and compare the two. You should be seeing the phone sending something like this. If it is sending it then there is nothing wrong with the phone at all, we should probably look elsewhere.

Hi John,
Thanks for steps to follow.
this problem occurs randomly but often, don't know what steps could light the problem.
for sure it was on almost 2 PBx , most of the phones were from Snom , several models, but problem was also on yealink.
Trunk is same provider, OpenIp
Pbx one cloud, other on premise

Ok, run the capture next time it occurs and see if the device sends the DTMF.

In the older firmware it would stop completely after a while and would only recover after a reboot.

Best confirm with captures this time.
