Good Morning Everyone,

I am having problem on Snom's Redirection service MAC address. How to disable it on 3CX?

Snom's Redirection service MAC address is a great when it works.

It does not work, because when the phone removed from 3CX the mac is not remove from Snom's redirection server.
The URL can not change manual as on the phone web GUI, it is grayed out after redirection enable.
The URL is wrong on the Snom's redirection server. It is not the same as what on the 3CX.
Example:on 3CX admin portal, it is something like this: https://xxx.3cx.com/provisioning/abcdefgawpr/cfg{mac} But we got this: https://xxx.3cx.com/rps/cfg{mac} from the Snom redirection server.

There is a thread talking about this https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...-address-from-snom-redirection-service.50763/
After enter the username and password for the extension, the phone will register. But it does not provision. So none of the setting on the phone deployed, it only can call in and out with the login extension.

Any way to disable it on 3CX or configure it with correct URL that send from 3CX to Snom?

if phones are SRAS registred on Snom side this mean config is pushed secure way to phones.
To remove Mac adress you need to open a ticket 3CX support or let the phone out of conection more than 14 days to be removed automaticly or last chance open a support ticket to Snom helpdesk

Hi Tom,

For STUN phones we do not reveal your full provisioning URL for security reasons.

Once the phone contacts the first URL, it will ask you to log in by entering your extension and PIN number. This is covered in the STUN provisioning document https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/snom-710-720-760/

Once you enter the correct credential and prove you are a legit user, the system will provide the phone with the real provisioning URL and then it will download the configuration file and provision itself. This is even written in the post you quoted above.

What issue did you actually face though? Does the phone fail to provision if you follow the Snom guide as described on our site?
