I just noticed that Welltech gateways are no longer supported. I didn't see anything in the change logs about removing gateway support, just the addition of the Grandstream ones. When did this happen and why is it not mentioned anywhere? I liked the fact that the ATA172 was PoE powered so we could remotely reboot if there were issues.

I noticed this when looking for the How to guide for another ticket the other day: https://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/

Not a brand I used I am big into Patton but can only assume with the addition of Grandstream they wanted to keep the list from getting too crowded. It would be good to get the official pitch though.

If you recall this happened recently with VoIP Providers also, a who bunch fell off without any mention.

Well there are tons of VoIP providers, but only a handful of ATAs. But yes I would like to see consistency. 3CX always touts additions but silently removes.

Hello @cobaltit

Please note that only the Welltech guides were removed as Welltech recently went out of business. The templates are still included in SP6 however so you can still provision them.

Oh. Well that would be a good reason for removing them then! Should still be in the update notes for greater awareness but I understand now. Hopefully someone else steps up with a supported PoE powered ATA.

I think with the likes of Grandstream added/supported and the sunset of the PSTN coming in a lot of countries I would be surprised to see if any other gateways are added to 3CX.

Never say never thought.
