Solved South Africa 0027 does not work

Hello,

I tried many manipulation.

My outbound rules was right. Sip trunk was right.

Us user cannot call south africa (0027)

the number have 13digit (0027XXXXXXXXX). When we call we get :"not available" without ring.

I trie Dect phone, soft phone, desk phone (fix).

Same.

Any idea ?

Check on the PBX under Settings >> Security and ensure that you have allowed this destination in the "allowed country codes" list.

OK then if you have checked I would say your best bet is to run the VERBOSE logging from the system and see what the binary log viewer has to say:

I think if it not "allowed country codes" it will be your outbound rule, or perhaps your provider not allowing these calls.

I really think is the SIP provider block... See the message :

Call or Registration to 0027XXXXXXXXX@(Ln.10000@Peoplefone) has failed.

Check that the number format (prefix?) is correct, if it is, contact your provider to see why it is being blocked by them. As sometimes happens, It may be a number that is billed at a much higher rate, and therefore blocked to protect you.

Check your Process E164 Numbers settings also:

Select South Africa,
tick Remove if same country,
add 00 to International Dial Code,
add 0 to National Code

No... was not a "simple" problem.

Finally, i find...

US sip provider search and a 3CX expert and myself searching too.
After 1 hour, we don't find anything.

Finally, after do many tries (routes, prefix, specific prefix for route the call, codecs, etc....)

The answer is : SRTP

I activate the SRTP for securing the company calls. Good intention, bad idea...

On sip trunk, the SRTP must disabled.

How i can tag this post as answer or solved ?
