SPA 962

Is there anyone with a SPA962 where everything is working fine together with the 3CX? Please send me installation details. I think I did everything right but there's a huge delay.

I'm using the 942 phones. I don't have a 962 phone to test with but I just went through the manual of all of them. With the exception of the color screen and the extra 6 lines, they are the same phone setups. I have deviated with very little from the 3CX FAQ setup for these phones.

All you need is (changes from factory default):
Phone Tab:
Station Name : What you want to call the phone if you don't like using the MAC address
Voicemail Number: 999 (unless you changed the default 3CX VM#)

Ext1 Tab (& 2-6 if you want different setting for each extension)

Shared Line Appearance:
Shared User ID - Set to Ext #

Call Feature Settings:
Blind Attn-Xfer Enable: Yes
Voice Mail Server: The 3cx IP address - if you have SMB version of 3CX this will give you the message waiting light, otherwise I don't think it does anything in the free version

Proxy & Registration:
Proxy: IP address of 3CX server
Outbound Proxy: IP address of 3CX server

Subscriber Information:
Display Name: Name you want to use
User ID: Ext assigned in 3CX
Password: Password assigned in 3CX (default is same as user id)

Once the phone reboots, it should register immediately (faster than the 9000 ever did!).

Is there a delay in ext to ext calling or outside to ext calling?

Hi landfiets,

I never hit the delay issue for SPA 942 and 962 at same LAN with 3CX box. If they connected to 3CX box over Internet through NAT via STUN server. I also hit the delay before. But I just drop the call then issue a new call will back to normal (close to real time).

I would like to have more details for your setting:
1. 3CX version?
2. SPA 962 SIP phone at same LAN or over Internet with NAT?
3. Using STUN server for SIP clients or NOT?
