Hello. I am trying to hook up an old alarm system (ITI Caretaker) to our voip system. I'm using a Cisco SPA112 ATA. I know the ATA is working correctly as I can call out using a normal analog phone hooked up to it.
When I hook the alarm system up to it, I get phone line failure from the alarm system (and the light for that line on the SPA112 blinks constantly like the line is being used, even though it isn't).
There are a TON of settings to choose from on the SPA112. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this work? I know it isn't recommended, but I'm trying to make due with what we have.
