Hi,

A previous employee set up the SSL certificate.

Renewed our wildcard SSL certificate today and looking to apply it to our 3cx system (it is using the almost expired current wildcard certificate)

I've looked at this guide.

https://www.3cx.com/docs/self-hosted-instances-ssh/

The pem files for the current cert exist. Wondering how do I go about applying a new certificate?

I have the following..

PKCS7 file
Cer files
Plain text files

Thanks in advance :)

You will need to first convert them with OpenSSL, and then follow the exact guide as above and they should be updated.

Hi,

Any guidance on where to find a Windows build of OpenSSL?

Thanks

Hi,

I have a PEM file for my Cer files now.

How do I create the -key.pem file? Original request was made in IIS7

Best to do some online research on this part as it involves your security. You should be able to convert your CRT and KEY the same way you already used.

Managed to sort this.

In the end I created a new cert using a non wildcard.

Used this to create the code for the request

https://www.digicert.com/easy-csr/openssl.htm

Then used a Pi to generate the openssl server key and certificate request., WinSCP to get those files.
uploaded the files to SSL Store.

used Notepad2 to edit the files into CR LF files as LF files seemed to upset NGINX.

Glad it was resolved, thanks for updating the thread
