Static IP change for Non-3CX FQDN

We are moving offices and are getting a new static IP for the new office. I have found many threads that explain what to do if you have a 3CX FQDN but none for if we have our own FQDN. If I point the DNS A record at the new IP and update the Public IP in the 3CX > Settings > Network > Public IP > External IP Configuration to the new Static IP, will everything work or is there more that needs to be done here? My understanding is that the Static > Dynamic > Static is only needed for 3CX FQDN's, and simply changing the IP in this case is enough. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Update the IP address under settings - network

If your sip trunks are ip authenticated, you need to make the necessary changes

Who do get your FQDN from? That is the place to start. Either you give them your new IP and they update it, or, as in a DDNS service, some program, at your location, is constantly updating your IP (even though it may never change, being static).
