Stop DID Name Change when changing Ring Group / Digital Receptionist / Queue

Is there a way to prevent the DID name from blanking out when assigning it to a different Ring Group / Digital Receptionist / Queue?

We have multiple locations and frequently have to reroute calls based upon staff / weather / etc...
In V18 we named our DIDs locgically so we could easily switch to wherever calls needed to be sent to, then switch back - we included the default route within the DID Name. The DID Name never changed regardless of where it was routed. We have just upgraded to V20 Update 3. Now when we reroute a DID the Name is deleted when assigned to a new Ring Group / DR / Q / etc. We know we can add the DID name back in once the DID has been added to the new RG / DR / Q, but this adds multiple steps in what was an easy workflow prior to moving to V20.

If the existing Ring Group is opened the DID Name is shown



Different Ring Group - ready to add the number Added to different Ring Group (DID number is all that is shown, name has been removed)

This is espected... No name on the did, no name in the report. you answerd your question by yourself.

I understand that if there isno name on the DID there will be no name on the report. My question is if the DID is named prior to changing the routing, why is the name removed when the assigned to a different RG / DA / Q.

Its like you deleting the did from the extension or group and reassign them. The name is gone.
