Hi everyone. Is there any way to "prove" through logs or any other method that an extension stopped recording a call during a call?

Please note that it is not possible to confirm whether an agent stopped a call recording using the standard system reports.

The closest way to verify this behavior is by reviewing the call logs, provided that Verbose logging was enabled at the time of the call.

If Verbose logging was active, you can review the ManagemenConsole.log file and search for entries containing RequestControlCallRecording. In such cases, if the entry shows a change like Requests:1 -> 0, this indicates that the call recording was stopped by the user.

Within the same log entry, you should also be able to identify the extension that performed the action. An example entry would look similar to the following:

XXXX/XX/XX XX:XX:XX.XXX|XXXX|Debg| [MyPhone.ServerMessageFactory] ([167 RequestControlCallRecording]) - 00:00:00.0000000 - from [email protected]. Requests:1 -> 0 (traceid=XXXXXXXXXXXXX:XXXXXXXX)

Please note that this method relies on having Verbose logging enabled beforehand. The information will not be available for past calls if verbose logging was not active at the time.

Thank you. I achieved!

Good candidate for audit log, actually.

Will be included into Update 9 BETA
