Hi All,

I've had a client throw a curly one at me, as they are used to a key system rather than a PBX.

They have asked for a way to retrieve a call, that has been transferred to Person B. Person B has answered the call and put it on hold and left the call on hold and walked away.

I'm guessing with their old key system they could just pick up "Line 1" again to grab the call.

Seems a little unusual and I'm not sure of the best way to tackle it.

Thanks in advance

There have been a number of posts, in the past, on setting-up sets in one department to behave as an old key system, using BLF keys. You will have to do some searching (sometimes Google is the best method). How well this functions will also depend on the make/model sets you are using.

I think youre wanting to use shared parking ... it works great in 3cx, better than traditional call park.

As above shared parking, the way to go

Thanks guys.

I'll look int the shared park, and look at re-educating the user.

For the record the handsets are Yealink T42G's
