Beloved 3CX hive mind,
I face the following troubles:
A client of us has two PBXs which are bridged - he now wants to create a central IVR for both systems (which include a total of 4 main trunk numbers (A, B, C & D - D is running on the second system).
We realized this by creating the following CDF project:
We're redirecting every ingoing call on main trunk D (which is on the second system) via the bridge prefix and the CFD extension number 97.
The client also wished that any caller making an invalid decision or delaying till timeout gets redirected to the appropriate location via their DID.
So when they tried to reach A and didn't select Option 1 they are still getting getting transferred to the appropriate extension(s).
First we had problems where the CFD would not recognize the DID of the redirected calls from the second system. We could get around this by replacing the check for the DID with a check for the session.ani including the prefix from the bridge.
However when the caller is now selecting to be connected to the second system their caller number will appear on the phones of the second system WITH the prefix for the bridge which prevents easy call backs for obvious reasons (e.g.: BB+43[...] - where BB is the bridge prefix followed by country code and caller number).
Is there any way to strip the two digits between. In theory all calls using the bridge should already automatically strip those digits via Outbound Rules (according to 3CX Bridge Tutorial).
Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated
