Solved System Owner rights changed to User

I am setting up a new 3CX service and playing with settings and features to test it. I was a System Owner, but I removed my ext from the only group that was listed and I lost all Admin rights.

I followed all suggestions on this thread https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...-now-locked-out-of-management-console.119230/

I typically log in with an ext, so there must be a different username I should use instead. The problem is that I don't recall setting one up, and cannot see where to find it.

Any ideas on how I can gain access to the owner acount again without having to start from scratch?

Ah, I found my problem.
The default username was set to admin. I used my 3cx.com password that I created when I setup the account - this was different than my ext password.

I was able to log in and see that warning that I needed to add System Owner to an ext. After assigning my ext the System Owner role, I was able to log in again with my ext and see the admin settings.

Hopefully this helps someone else.
