Sytandard On Premise to Pro Hosted

Hi,

What's the best process to upgrade from a Standard on premise licence to Pro with hosting? I want to be able to use the existing 3cx hardware as the new SBC. Is there a process that'll automate everything for me or will I need to setup a new customer/instance?

Take a full backup, upgrade your license in the portal (and don't forget to add hosting.)

Then, you'll get a Switch to Hosted button, follow the steps and restore your backup when asked if you have one.

While it does its thing, shut down the on-prem server.

Pro license will take 6h for DNS to update (if you use a 3CX FQDN, required for Hosted.)

You will simply reinstall using the ISO, and choose the SBC in the post-install script.

If you are using windows on this sbc pc, make sure to edit the windows hosts file and remove the static entry for your fqdn or the sbc software won't see the pbx and it is pointing to localhost. c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
