T46S W/Expansion Modules resetting the Expansion Modules very few weeks.

I have a hosted 3cx pro that is running. The expansion module configuration keeps wiping out every few week and then I have to login to every single phone and upload the config file. can someone help me as to what might be going on?

You have to configure the blf keys for expansion module in 3cx management console and not on the phone itself. If you must do it on the phone then you have to remove phone from auto provision (not recommended).

Thank you for the reply what will happen if I removed the phone from Auto provisioning why is it not recommended. and when setting up blf in 3cx does this do it on the expansion module or the phone it self?

I believe key 28 and higher when programmed in 3cx will go to the expansion module. Give it take a few numbers. Pretty sure it’s 28 though.

Keeping phone under proper provisioning has many benefits including when there is new templates and firmware to easily update and is the supported method of things.

Hi @sfraz

Edit your extension in 3CX and add all the BLFs there. BLF position 28 is where the expansion starts, and 1-27 is the BLFs on the phone screen.

Avoid removing the provisioning link, otherwise you will not be able to control your phone remotely (for provisioning, changing settings, changing credentials etc).
