TEL: hyperlink & Chrome Plugin not working

Hello everyone,

I'm Running 15.5.6354.2 in STD

In any browsers when clicking on a 'Tel:' hyperlink to start a call, nothing happens.
I've done everything written in the manual : https://www.3cx.com/user-manual/web-client-browser-extension/

I checked the default program settings in windows for the 'Tel:' link is set to 3CX.
Changing the 'Tel:' URL protocol to Skype and it works fine. Skype opens and the call is started.

When working in chrome and running the plugin I have the same behavior.

The outlook client is not working as well. Same issue as this threat.

I've test this on several computer, all win 10 fully patched.



Can anyone relate ?

Maybe I am wrong, but as far as i know a 3CX Phone System Pro Licence is required.

Indeed, that's where i looked, but nothing about windows integration. This is the default windows hyperlink for phone.
Looking at the setup page from 3CX, i asume its for all editions. https://www.3cx.com/user-manual/web-client-browser-extension/
