Telnyx vs flowroute for SMS texting from business number.

I'm looking into both these options.
Any know the main differences between these two ?
I'm looking to setup texting between my office and patients.

I contacted VoiceMeUp a few weeks back. They are probably working on it but to be compatible, they have to do some changes in their SMS API.

No, it will only be approved providers because of the API complexity. You can use Flowroute if you can't have Telnyx. Or wait a couple month to see if Twilio gets supported (it should be eventually.)

I am currently using Telnyx, the cost is low and works for me, I moved from Twilio, too complicated to setup and not supported for SMS.

Using Telnyx here. You can try using their Hosted SMS feature (for DIDs of other providers.)

Some providers support that.

I signed up for Telnyx. They give a free DID and $10 to spent, which was kinda nice.

The SMS text and Chat Messages both show up in Chat but in different areas. The blue icon is the SMS chat log.

This was doable for a long time without 3CX and still is. As a matter of fact I'm betting 3CX is probably a terrible solution for your SMS needs. I'd be looking at doing this through whatever your practice software is.
