Test and Prod Environment

Hi

I have now setup my Test eviroment using PBXpress on Azure. It's a great way to deploy everything in one shot. Just going through the testing and setting up as my SIP Trunk isn't one of those from the supported list - so I have to do quite a bit of testing to get it running.

Once I finish with the testing, I intend to build an environment for "Prod" and migrate the settings over. I think I can export the settings from Test to Prod etc etc.

Question :
Can I use PBXpress to build another environment using my same email account?
I understood the PBX Express automatically setup a Pro (limited by trial) and drop to a standard edition. Just want to make sure I don't mess up the Test as I intend to play around a bit on the TEST while the "Prod" should remains controlled.

Hi @ZhenLegend

If you buy a key, you can go to your Customer Portal and deploy it via PBX Express again. It will be a separate instance and will not interfere with the test environment.

You will have to backup the old system without the License and FQDN and download the backup.
When you restore via PBX Express you can create a new FQDN that will be bound to the new licence.

This way you can keep both systems online independently and maintain a test environment using your free key that will be downgraded from Pro to Standard once the trial period is over but will continue to work.

To clarify, you will have two keys in your portal, the free one and the commercial one all under the same email address.
