Hi everybody,

Does anyone know the road map for TLS SIP trunk? Others PBX does it and multiples SIP providers enabled it now. Claiming to be the "most secure PBX" but not supporting secure SIP on trunk link is a non sense to me.

Thanks in advance!!!

3CX does not publish a road map. 3CX missing TLS but having 8 other security focused features can still qualify as most secure. A PBX with TLS but that defaults the admin password to password would not be considered secure either. TLS is just one aspect. 3CX did remove the rudimentary TLS setup they had and mentioned they were re-working it. I would imagine we'll see TLS utilizing the LE framework that is already in place in the next version or two.

I did hear that Secure SIP was going to be included as standard in a future release of 3CX (this maybe what you mean in your first post) but as @cobaltit says we never get a roadmap of when these features will be included (I was under the impression it would be here in v16 but its not).

There is an ideas string on this already, whether it is worth voting it up when it is already in progress is up to you: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/tls-support-for-voip-trunks.51136/
