Hello

Maybe the question was already asked somewhere, but is there a way to know easily the number of extensions we managed globally, server instance per server instance, to have a global view on how many users we serve?
I think that information was shown on the partner portal sometimes but can't find it anymore.

Thanks !

No longer in the portal since Instance Manager is gone.

You can check each PBX's dashboard, middle block, you'll see the counts.

Otherwise, I recommend PBXMonitor to manage all of them in one place.

Thank you for selecting 3CX as the communication solution to offer your customers.
With regard to your inquiry, you can verify each 3CX instance to obtain this information.
We strongly advise against the use of any third party with 3CX as it is not supported nor recommended by us, and doing so renders your instances unsupported.
It is recommended that you contact your 3CX sales representative and discuss this matter with them. It may be beneficial to consider utilizing Startup, our multi-tenant solution, rather than Dedicated in that case!

Thanks @MiraG_3CX

I know I can check manually 1 by 1, but that's exactly what I don't want to do.
Depending on the number of instances, this manual work every months is a pain.

We charge our own 3CX maintenance on a per extension base, so I'm looking for a way to reduce the manual work.

Thanks @ConceptsWeb

Do you use PBXMonitor?
Not concerned about security issues? Does it have any kind of admin access to all the instances?

I understand your concern, but as a representative of 3CX, it is important for me to inform you that we do not endorse nor support the usage of third-party software in conjunction with our 3CX solution. Doing so could potentially jeopardize the stability and security of your customer's installation and render it unsupported.

As an alternative, I would like to suggest that you consider migrating to 3CX Startup, which is a multi-tenant solution on a per-extension basis, thereby making it easier to manage your customer's installation.

Additionally, it is important to note that the number of extensions for an already installed and configured customer should/would remain constant over time. If you are managing the installation for your customer, then you can easily keep track of any changes to the number of extensions, whether additions or deletions, in order to ensure proper management of the system and tracking of those numbers.

Once again, I would like to strongly discourage the use of third-party software with 3CX. I appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Hello,

3CX does not recommend the use of any third-party developed solutions that are purchased as an add-on, including the solution in question here or any other that you may wish to integrate with 3CX. The utilization of such solutions can potentially jeopardize the security of your PBX and potentially cause other issues to the communication system of your customers. Please also note that we do support CRM or PMS integrations (which are explicitly mentioned on our website.)

Just to clear the air here.

PBXMonitor does not affect 3CX support has IT'S NOT A SOFTWARE ON THE SYSTEM!

It's a remote management tool just like Instance Manager was.

Please stop fearmongering people with the "no third party..." as it just confuses everyone. This is NOT like VoIPTools.

Also, StartUP isn't a solution to hundreds of users on dedicated systems. StartUP is for small businesses under 20 users.

We do use it and so do many of our partners.

Yes, it does have an admin access to each machine, it uses that to give you all the infos from the Management Console, but in one place.

If you wonder about security, the guy who wrote the tool is a cybersecurity expert. (@BrenttG)
