Office has Yealink T40G and T42G handsets with "Accept Multiple calls" enabled under Phones Forwarding Rules. Issue happens when a user hangs up a call that was from an external source routed through ivr and when first call is ended user is unable to pickup another call that is ringing to the group. Currently on 3CX 16.0.2.910

I assume that both extentions, in question are members of the same ring group. If so, that is how it works. If an extension is busy when a call comes into a ring group, the status is only checked at that time. If the status changes (the user hangs up), any call ringing other members of the ring group will not ring the now idle extenson.

Thanks for the explanation on ring group status check. Our users are having to pickup an adjacent phone in the ring group to answer the new incoming call. Is it possible to allow users currently on the phone to have the option to answer these new incoming calls to the ring group from their handset?

Try this instead - 2 ring groups with same users - after 10 seconds - bounce to the second ring group... and then back to the first... or whatever your pleasure.

Assuming you are using default dialcodes... Create a blf on the phone as a custom speeddial onad for the number use (star)20(star)ext where ext = ext of ring group. for some reason i cannot use the star symbol.

Love how the *'s are stripped... makes conversations confusing.

Use the code tag to prevent this
Code:
[CODE]*******[ /CODE]
(remove the extra space between [ and /)

Thanks Craig for the suggestion on creating a second ring group to forward to. Hopefully that should fix the issue. Might experiment with the blf cortel suggested.

Speed dial for call pick up will be faster to pick a call up than waiting for timeout to second group.

I know that... but most do not. :)

just need to let some space to be able to display properly in forum like * 20 *
