I have a problem when i try to register GXW4216v2 with a 3CX Hosted. When i tried to add this on FXS/DECT required 3CX SBC to confirm the record. Did anyone know if it is necessary to use SBC for this setup or any other way?

Yes it is necessary, specially with Hosted by 3CX.

The SBC is mandatory in this case. Arrange to install an SBC at the same location as the GXW4216 and you will be able to use your gateway.

Today with have installed a V64 ipphone as router and seems that we have created an SBC Trunksbc.pngBut when we tried to add gateway for provisioning, we cannot select SBC from the drop-down list

Also, the devices in the remote location can be discovered through SBC

Can you advise?

Yes, please note that currently, Router Phones can only act as the SBC of other normal IP phones. They cannot yet be used as the SBC for FXS or DECT devices.

Also, keep in mind that the Router phones have been tested to be ok with a max of around 10 phones behind them. The GXW-4216 can create a lot more traffic, so it might not be a very good idea to use a router phone as its SBC.

In this case, we would recommend to install a dedicated SBC machine at your site.
