I have a client who wants a button press process to unconditionally forward all incoming calls that go to one extension over to another. The source extension is their "front desk", which at certain times may or may not be manned. The destination extension they wish to transfer to could be any of the 20 or so other extensions in the system, at random. It's rarely ever the same extension twice.
The reason they want a button sequence, is because they do not want to use the web interface for the process. Yes, they have been educated on it. No, they don't want to use it. They see it as a time waster. They want something like *31210 to send the calls to 210. Period. Done.
They tried the phone's built in "unconditional forward" feature, but it doesn't work. The PBX and/or phone are ignoring the setting.
Is there any option within 3CX that will do this that I'm just missing in the documentation?
PBX: 18.0 (Build 461) hosted on Google
SBC: 18.1.36 on linux
Source phone: Fanvil X210 with firmware 2.4.12
