Unsupported CRM? Not a problem with the 3CX CRM Template Generator

Hello @DNV,

I am trying to integrate 3CX with Odoo v.8 by using the 3CX Template Generator. When I try to test the generated template it returns an exception (Added as an attachment to this message).
From the message, I can see that it is related to a wrong variable format but not sure where and why.

I am using OAuth2 authentication. Here is the documentation for the REST API module that I am using:

If you need additionally I can share the calls that I am using and the responses that should be returned for them.

I would really appreciate any help.

We have a customer who is using magenoto Ver 1, they re looking to intergrrate and the purchase is based on this however they are using Magento REST API and uses 3-legged OAuth 1.0a not OAuth2.

Is there a way around this is it it a straight no!

3CX supports OAuth2, and NOT OAuth 1.0a. I'm not aware of the differences, so I can't tell for sure if it will work, but most probably it will not...

Hi,
We have managed to integrate using the template, which is great at creating the contacts in 3cx from our 3rd party CRM, however we would ideally like to answer 3cx from within side our CRM and see who is calling by popping something inside our CRM. We have access to developers to do this, is there any info on this as all I can find is the template integration for 3rd party CRM systems

We are planning to release a Chrome Extension that will incorporate a dialer. That extension will be running as background service and will be accessible at all times for incoming or outgoing calls.

Thanks for the response, so can we tap in to this to dial straight from our application, will it broadcast receiving calls so we can pop things in out application?
If so this is great, any idea of the tech?

Let me point it differently. You will move throughout your applications, but you will never miss a call

It will be a Chrome Extension. As a result, you have to install it via Chrome Web Store.

That makes no sense. Let me ask the same question in a different way
Can I see the number calling and pop something in MY application?
Can I press a button in MY application and answer a call?

The business case that we are solving with the Chrome Extension is not to integrate in your application or whatever application. We are giving the flexibility of users of not loosing any calls by having an app running on the background accessible at any moment to answer or make calls.
